I had a great 2-night stay at this hotel and really enjoyed it. the rooms were functional and good-sized with central heating, a TV, and a radio. the hotel is located in a secluded area right in the heart of the Black Forest nature.

The triple room we stayed in was reasonably large with a good shower. The room had central heating, a TV set and a radio plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, with the beautiful Schwarzwald surrounding us. It was the perfect location to immerse ourselves in nature and enjoy a peaceful Christmas getaway. the staff at the hotel were incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They even helped us with our luggage and waited up late to check us in.

The secluded location of the hotel meant that a car was absolutely essential. This was a bit inconvenient as it limited our options for exploring the nearby town and attractions.

The breakfast at this place includes freshly brewed coffee.

The staff here is amazing and always greets you with a smile, while the property is charmingly nestled right in the heart of the Black Forest.

I stayed at Gut Lauterbad for one night during my tour. The independent, family-run hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, right next to a beautiful forest where I enjoyed long walks. The accommodation was easily arranged and the reception staff were friendly. They even went above and beyond by offering to put my open top car under cover. The room was excellent, very clean, and offered great value for the price. one of the best places I've stayed during my tour.

Good stay, quirky and quiet place. New-fashioned, spacious room with a private bathroom and a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets. Excellent location a short walk to city centre. Greatly enjoyed nice quiet area. Top-notch restaurant, for evening meals. Good base for exploring Freudenstadt:)))

The initial impression of the room decor. It appeared rather run-down and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint here and there.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was really focused on clients and service. the hotel provides a great stop-over location and offers good value for money. the surroundings in nature were nice, and there was easy parking right across the street.

We were traveling with a baby and they gave us a room on the top floor without an elevator, which was inconvenient. They also forgot to provide a baby crib, although thankfully we had our own travel cot.

Exquisite room appointments, tasteful design, great setting. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Free daily mineral water, pet friendly. Good food, excellent service. Comfortable after forest walks.
